My alarm goes off at 6.15 and I try to drag myself out of bed without hitting snooze . Then it ’ s off downstairs to let Daisy the dog out . She needs feeding ASAP , as she knows its breakfast time ! Then the important cup of tea for us …
There ’ ll be something suitably healthy for my husband John but nothing for me - I don ’ t eat breakfast apart from on a weekend .
It ’ s porridge time for our son and John or I will do his packed lunch for school while we catch up with BBC news and the lovely Carol tells us about the weather .
After a warm shower , I ’ ll slap some make-up on and my Durata workwear . By 8am , it ’ s off to work I go after I drop the dog at the farm and our son at the bus stop .
I am definitely a morning person - I love a new day !
My alarm goes off round 6.15 and I head straight to the Nespresso machine . I ’ m training for the Leeds marathon so I either go for a run or do a quick 15-minute pilates session .
I wake up my two girls at 7am and then the real fun / carnage begins … While they ’ re munching their Cheerios , I shower and get ready for the day . I love fashion and could happily talk / listen to anyone about it all day , every day ! What I wear during the working week falls into two categories : on a WFH / run day , I ’ m in gym gear , while on an office day I wear something lovely that makes me feel fabulous . No matter what day it is , I ’ m never without some lippy .
My oldest departs before 8am then I walk the littlest lady , not forgetting the dog , to school around 8.20 . I ’ m then sitting at my desk for about 8.45 with my second coffee of the morning and ready for a lie down !

I wake up around 6am to walk the dog in the nearby fields or woods , no matter the weather , which can be interesting in winter .
After a quick shower , choosing what I wear is relatively easy - working at Aspire means a dynamic and professional environment , so I typically wear a suit . Being French , I rarely have breakfast , just coffee , but if I eat something , it will be a croissant . We have two young boys , who , being British , love porridge .
We leave the house at 7.30 to go to breakfast club and then I ’ m off to one of our offices , splitting my week between Teesside , Leeds and Gateshead . It ’ s a balancing act and it ’ s always a busy day , but I wouldn ’ t have it any other way , knowing that I ’ m helping our clients innovate through technology .

Every morning , my day kicks off anywhere between 5.30 and 6.30 , often signalled by my enthusiastic three-year-old bursting into the bedroom proclaiming : “ It ’ s morning !”
After dragging myself out of bed , I jump in a refreshing hot shower to awaken my senses . With clothes laid out the night before , getting dressed is nice and fast . I head downstairs , often to two young children fighting over toys or TV shows . It ’ s then time to prepare breakfast for them and pack their lunches for school and nursery .
Normally by 7 or 7.30 , I ’ m in the car , heading into work to get a head start on the day . Breakfast is replaced by a steady stream of coffee until lunchtime rolls around .
