Mike Priestley , Logic-i Yarm-based Logic-i has appointed a new director to its leadership management team as it looks to expand its involvement in major projects .
Mike Priestley has joined the project , commercial , planning , project controls and claims management specialist .
The appointment comes as Logic-i , founded in 2019 , has experienced significant growth , evident in its recent move to new offices , significant headcount expansion , and a substantial increase in turnover from £ 400,000 to £ 3m .
The company says it aims to achieve £ 5m by 2025 and is strategically positioning itself to capitalise on significant infrastructure projects .
Mike Thornicroft , Teesside Hospice Teesside Hospice has announced the name of its new chief executive as successor to David Smith .
David is stepping down from the top job at the hospice after five successful years

fighting for fairer funding and navigating through both a pandemic and cost-ofliving crisis .
Mike Thornicroft succeeded David in March at a hospice that has been an integral part of the community for 42 years , offering in-patient care , bereavement support , plus lymphoedema , outreach and wellbeing services .
On his appointment , Mike said : “ I ’ m incredibly excited to join a highly reputable hospice at such an exciting time . David moved the hospice forward and dealt with some incredible challenges during his time in post and leaves the hospice in a very strong position .
“ I ’ m really looking forward to working with the fantastic Teesside Hospice team and trying to build on David ’ s work , to ensure all beneficiaries in our community have access to the support they need .”
David said that being the chief executive “ has been a real honour , creating memories , experiences and connections that will stay with me forever ”.
Dai Hayward , NEPIC The North East of England Process Industry Cluster ( NEPIC ) has recently welcomed a new chair to lead the future of the cluster .
Taking over from Roger Kilburn who has been in the role for the past 12 months , Dai Hayward , co-founder of
Micropore Technologies , has a deeprooted connection with NEPIC having been a founding board member during its inception in 2004 and then rejoining the board again in 2018 .
As co-founder of Micropore Technologies , a leader on microparticle and nanomedicine engineering using scalable membrane-based technology , Dai understands the sector , including large and SME business challenges .
NEPIC has a long-standing history in supporting the growth of its members and is currently the largest process cluster in the UK , representing more than 320 member companies who have interests across the North-East .
During his time on the board , Roger Kilburn has overseen the latest transition period of NEPIC ’ s new era , including the appointment of Joanne Fryett as interim CEO , and recently led a delegation of pharmaceutical companies to present at the House of Commons .
