Teesside Hospice is gearing up for a ground-breaking car rally with

Ramsdens Currency as headline sponsor .
In its most exhilarating corporate event to date , Teesside Hospice is thrilled to announce Ramsdens Currency ( ramsdenscurrency . co . uk ) as the headline sponsor for their upcoming Rallye Du Soleil .
The 2,000-mile driving challenge to the French Riviera promises not only the trip of a lifetime for participants , but also a fantastic opportunity to raise vital funds for the hospice ’ s exceptional palliative care services .
Driving for a cause Since its establishment in 1982 , Teesside Hospice has been dedicated to providing pain and symptom management , emotional support and outstanding end-of-life care to the people of the region .
The hospice costs a staggering £ 6,000-a-day to maintain its commitment to excellence , and the Rallye Du Soleil , which takes place from September 9-15 , aims to raise funds to support its vital work .
As a long-term corporate partner , Ramsdens has recently donated an amazing £ 6,000 , which will run Teesside Hospice for a day , has provided volunteers and donated generously to its charity shops . The company ’ s headline sponsorship of the rally is another example of its valued support , and Ramsdens CEO Peter Kenyon expressed his excitement about supporting the event .

A supporting cast Joining Ramsdens Currency in supporting the rally are hospice ambassador and director of ITS Malcolm Knott , who will be getting behind the wheel with wife and fellow director Carole , while colleague Mark Taylor takes a second vehicle on behalf of the company .
ITS is sponsoring the start line , vehicle checks and a party night in St Tropez . Sign Design UK , as gold sponsor , will provide logos free of charge for all participants ’ cars , while Andrew Porritt of Stokesley-based Anelec has snapped up the map and information sponsorship package .
Join in the fun Registrations for drivers are due to close on Sunday March 31 . For just £ 400 per person ( based on two sharing a car ), participants will embark on a thrilling adventure , starting with a pressfuelled launch event and including accommodation , evening meals , channel crossings , mechanical support , a celebration party in glamorous St Tropez and a day of leisure in this iconic location .
