OMAR YOUSEF Omar has gone from project manager to project director . He initially started at the business and then returned three years ago . He has come back with more site knowledge and experience . He has proved he is worth investing in and now has global experience to help in the journey to take Durata across the world .
DYLAN LEWIS The graduate electrical engineer is working towards his chartership . He has been with Durata for 14 months , fresh from a university , and within 12 months he has been in the design team , estimating team and the project delivery team . He has been to Ireland , Germany and Scotland with Durata and each stage he progresses through he is recognised and rewarded .
JO STILES Jo was brought in with a fantastic reputation within the industry , boasting extensive product knowledge and contacts . As soon as Durata met her she was appointed head of data centres . She has fitted in seamlessly and is working closely with clients and potential clients across Europe .
LEWIS COBB As head of modular , he has established Durata in the modular data centre and buildings sector . Durata has had more than 30 people visit and given what he describes as the “ Teesside experience ” when they see the factories and how data centres are built here . Those customers are coming from all over , including the USA .
JASMINE SMITH Since starting six years ago as a quiet apprentice , Jasmine helped Alison implement procedures and processes and grew into her role , running the office . There ’ s nothing she doesn ’ t know about the company . When a position arose in sales and marketing she expressed an interest and she was encouraged to move into that position . Jasmine is pivotal in automating Durata by implementing a new CRM system .
MILLY McGHEE Two years ago , Durata was introduced to Milly and her mum at a careers night because she was keen on becoming an electrician . They stayed in touch while she went through her studies . When a position came up for a trainee project manager , there was a room full of people interested through NETA . Durata asked them all to submit a statement anonymously and the one that caught Durata ’ s eye was Milly ’ s . She is thriving in her role as trainee project manager while still going through her electrical qualifications . She is learning lots , has been to Germany four times and is still only 17 .

KEV DUNN Durata ’ s managing director John was Kev ’ s apprentice in 1991 and they have worked together on and off projects and jobs for 25 years . Since returning to work for Durata at the start of the year he has been the company ’ s project manager in Germany .
AARON MARKHAM Aaron arrived a few years ago as a qualified electrician but he has developed his offering and moved into the design department , where he is excelling . He loves technology and is learning more and more about building information modelling ( BIM ), taking it on and running with it .
RYAN SYMONS Having started in February as an electrical support engineer , Ryan is already showing signs of progressing within the company . He was named employee of the month for October , having outlined his desire to progress at Durata with his positive approach .
LILY ROBINSON What was a few weeks ’ work experience secured through a contact at the Advanced Manufacturing Forum has developed into an apprenticeship through Optimum Skills . Durata ended up offering Lily a role as a business admin apprentice because she was so good during her work experience . She has picked up things quickly and Durata believes Lily is worth the investment .
