Teesside Hospice , a beacon of compassion in the heart of our region , has been dedicated to providing exceptional palliative care since it opened its doors to the community in 1982 .
Committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals facing life-limiting illnesses , the hospice offers a range of services , including pain and symptom management , emotional support and endof-life care .
With a focus on holistic wellbeing , its dedicated team not only cares for patients but also provide invaluable support to their families , ensuring dignity and comfort during challenging times .
Through its unwavering commitment to excellence and community-driven care , the hospice stands as a pillar of support and solace . This exceptional care , of course , comes at a price . It costs £ 6,000 per day to keep our doors open .
With that in mind , the hospice is thrilled to announce its most exciting corporate event to date – the Rallye du Soleil , set to take place from September 9 to 15 2024 . This 2,000-mile driving extravaganza gives drivers an opportunity to raise some vital funds while enjoying the trip of a lifetime !
Sign up today For just £ 400 per person ( based on two sharing a car ), your package will include accommodation , evening meals , channel crossings , a mechanical support team , a celebration party once you reach your destination and even a day of leisure in glamorous Saint-Tropez .
All the hospice asks is that each team provides a car ( there are no restrictions on your car ’ s age or value ) and raises a minimum of £ 2,000 per car in sponsorship . Organisers will be on hand to get you safely to France and home again – and will also ensure you have a whole lot of fun in the process !
