The firm crowned Company of the Year at the fourth annual Tees Tech Awards has pledged there ’ s much more to come – with a transatlantic breakthrough and local jobs boom .
Stockton-based Fitfactory Technology group CEO Jason Pritchard told Tees Business : “ With a contract we ’ ve just signed with an American company and some good news to come in the next couple of weeks , we ’ re hoping we can quadruple our numbers in the North-East within the next year .
“ We ’ ve got huge investment coming and we want to take the product global . We ’ ve already got customers in Australia , Canada and India , and we want to make a more secure footing in North America – all supported by us in Teesside .”
Explaining what Fitfactory does from its Stockton , Glasgow and Cardiff premises , Jason said : “ We provide software that makes engineering and manufacturing companies leaner . We save them money on their processes , we help them reduce their carbon footprint and we help them compete in a global market .”
Praising the Fitfactory team , he added : “ The team ethos we ’ ve built is phenomenal – I trust the team that I ’ ve got , they take full ownership of what they want to deliver .”
He also paid tribute to the thriving Tees tech scene , saying : “ We ’ ve got amazing minds and amazing technology in the North-East and Teesside .
“ We ’ re growing from Fusion Hive and I want to continue growing . The next step will be to buy our own premises and to continue growing in the North-East because it ’ s an amazing area with amazing talent and I ’ m super excited to be here .”
