Cornerstone provides the perfect IT solution for established Teesside haulage firm
Watertight security and ultrareliable tech support are worth their weight in gold to any business .
So when Teesside haulage and plant hire firm Scott Bros decided to appoint a new contractor to run its IT network , it turned to Cornerstone Business Solutions . It ’ s a decision that has paid off handsomely .
The two companies linked up earlier this year and the partnership has proved to be a match made in heaven , as delighted Scott Bros director David Scott Junior confirmed .
“ The transition has been so peaceful and painless ,” he began . “ With the best will in the world , when you change IT companies it can be a bit daunting because there ’ s a lot to sort out . But Chris Bibby and his team have been absolutely fantastic .”
What particularly impressed David was the fact that the Cornerstone Business Solutions team doing all the required work took care of business quickly , quietly and efficiently .
“ They sorted virtually everything out without having to refer back to us ,” he continued . “ It ’ s been 100 per cent peaceful , to the point where I ’ ve hardly noticed them !”
Scott Bros decided to take the plunge and contact Cornerstone after becoming dissatisfied with their previous contractor .
The main problem was the time it took to get any issues resolved – but that hasn ’ t been the case with its new partner .
“ We outsourced our IT support and it became very problematic getting anything done ,” David admitted .
“ Cornerstone , being a Teesside company , is a big thing for us . You can either pick up the phone or visit the office , you can put names to faces and build a proper working relationship .

Founded in 1971 by David Scott Senior , who still owns the business , Scott Bros continues to thrive . It recently opened a multi-million-pound aggregate wash plant in Grangetown as part of a green initiative .
“ Scott Bros is a big brand in the Teesside area , so we were really chuffed to start working with them ,” said the aforementioned Chris Bibby , Cornerstone Business Solutions ’ sales director .

issues they were having . The support they had didn ’ t match the needs and ambitions of Scott Bros .
“ We made a proposal and eventually we onboarded with them about three months ago with an IT support contract plus all the peripheral services that go with that .”

“ So when we ’ re onboarding a new client , we would rather spend an extra day or two on-site , so we know that when we leave site , we ’ ve got all the information we need .

“ The human side of the relationship is important as well ,” added Chris . “ They know they can pick the phone up and ask us a question and it ’ s not going to be forgotten about .
