Result – Terrace only went to Step Forward Tees Valley to update his CV but ended up landing a job at Aldi ’ s warehouse .
Valley hopes to be in a prime position to continue to support people in the area to achieve their goals and move into employment and training .
Vikkie Wilkinson , Humankind Charity ’ s assistant director : work and skills said : “ It ’ s been an honour and a privilege to lead the Step Forward Tees Valley programme and work with our brilliant partners and teams to achieve real results for people across the area .
“ The programme has been massively successful and seeing the difference in our participants ’ lives as a result of their hard work , and that of our staff , is really rewarding .
“ Unfortunately , as the Building Better Opportunities programme comes to an end , we are unable to deliver services to our participants after March this year .
“ We are working hard behind the scenes to find alternative sources of funding to ensure we can continue to make real differences to our communities in the years ahead .”
