When I ’ m not working , I like to spend my time … I love being in the great outdoors with my English springer spaniel , Rosie , and anyone who cares to join me . Whether we are trekking through fields or on beaches or just enjoying the garden . I also like to make time for my very large and close-knit family .
My guilty pleasures are … pizza and US drama series .
The best holiday I ever had was … I ’ ve had some amazing holidays . My honeymoon touring Egypt was up there , but probably the best experience I have had was driving across America from Colorado to Las Vegas with my husband ( who did most of the driving ), taking in Monument Valley , the Grand Canyon and some great places along the way .
Not many people know this about me but … my husband came second in Big Brother in 2002 and we had a whirlwind year rubbing shoulders with the mildly famous and appearing on TV shows !
In retirement , I ’ ll spend my time … I ’ d love to think I have my own holiday home somewhere hot . So spreading my time between there , travelling and home while volunteering to keep me occupied , I imagine I ’ ll grow old disgracefully . I ’ d better get topping up the pension !
