Entries are now open for new awards launched by Tees Business in partnership with Azets to recognise and celebrate our region ’ s booming businesses - the fastest growing in terms of turnover and job creation .

A prestigious lunchtime event on Thursday February 16 will see Tees Business and headline sponsor , accountant and business advisor Azets , join forces to unveil The VelociTees - the fastest growing businesses across several categories .
Entries are now open for those who believe their business is among the fastest growing in the region based on turnover , job creation – or both !
There are three categories of Top Turnover VelociTees for businesses to enter . These are for :
> Large business - Open to businesses with a turnover of more than £ 10m in latest filed accounts .
> SME - Open to businesses with a turnover of between £ 3m and £ 10m in latest filed accounts .
> Small business - Open to businesses with a turnover of between £ 250,000 and £ 3m in latest filed accounts .
There ’ ll also be an award for the overall Top Turnover VelociTees , decided from the finalists in the above three categories .
There ’ s a further three categories of Top Job Creation VelociTees for businesses to enter . These are for :
> Large business - Open to businesses with more than 250 employees in latest filed accounts .
> SME – Open to businesses with 51-250 employees in latest filed accounts .
> Small business - Open to businesses with 10-50 employees in latest filed accounts .
There ’ ll also be an award for the overall Top Job Creation VelociTees , decided from the finalists in the above three categories .

The VelociTees are open to businesses in Middlesbrough , Stockton , Redcar &
Cleveland , Stokesley , Hartlepool and Darlington . To enter , businesses must have at least two years of filed accounts . Applications will be considered by qualified accountants from Azets , who will act as judges . The judges ’ decision is final .
