Solar - an essential investment for sustained cost savings for businesses , says Anelec

The PV design and installation process is made as simple as possible for clients and after an initial site assessment , options are discussed – be it roof panels or ground mounts , or where best to place battery storage .
Then Anelec ’ s expert team designs a bespoke system for each site .
Installations are usually completed in a few days or weeks , depending on system size , and are non-invasive , meaning most clients can continue with their daily activities without disruption .
So far this year , Anelec has installed more than 600kWs ’ worth of panels – that ’ s a lot of green energy !
One of the showpiece projects Anelec has been involved in is Lawson Cars in Bank Road , Middlesbrough , where a new solar system will save 8.6 tonnes of carbon emissions annually at the dealership .
As a result of the work done , the dayto-day reliance on the electricity grid for power has been reduced by a massive 85 per cent .

One example of that was Easby Holiday Cottages , where the Anelec team worked with a stunning view of Roseberry Topping to design and install an integrated 20kW ground-mounted system with 28kW of battery storage and a set of EV chargers .
The business now fully meets the needs of its increasingly environmentally conscious clientele and their electric cars . And if variety is the spice of life , then there ’ s South Shields Football Club , where Anelec was subcontracted by Durata to design and install a 92kW solar PV system with a 100kW inverter .
It took the team two weeks to install 228 solar panels on the roof of the new stand at the First Cloud Arena , but the Mariners are now guaranteed plenty of energy off the pitch as well as on it !
