Erimus , the Teesside-based insurance broker specialising in helping local businesses , has teamed up with Gallagher , one of the UK ’ s largest insurance brokers and risk management specialists .

Established in 1986 and based in Kingfisher House , Stockton , the 40-strong Erimus team of risk professionals currently work with over 2,500 local businesses . As a result of this latest development , the firm will be able to expand the services it offers to help more local organisations with their insurance requirements , drawing on the size and scale of Gallagher to negotiate even better value cover for clients .
The existing Erimus team is staying with the business so clients can be confident they will receive the same personal service and continue to have access to the team ’ s extensive local expertise .
The Erimus team and Teesside office will become part of Gallagher ’ s large network of regional offices across the UK and will enlarge its existing North-East presence which previously operated out of Newcastle , where a team will continue to be based to support local clients in this part of the region .
