Donation – executive coach Claire Walton donated proceeds from the first week ’ s Kindle sales of her book Super Neuro You to domestic violence charity My Sister ’ s Place .
During the pandemic , she switched to online coaching and worked hard to understand what her clients required most at that time , from building resilience to long-term planning in an uncertain world .
“ I ’ m constantly researching what is challenging leaders and what solutions they need in response for their performance , their teams and their organisations ,” she says .
Claire helps leaders build confidence and motivation , determine their direction and goals for themselves and their business , work out how to achieve them – and also how to “ face into ” challenges more effectively .
Claire is running the first Women in Leadership programme for Northumbria University , with 45 women going through the programme this year .
“ It ’ s so rewarding seeing the programme benefit these amazing women and I look forward to the ripple effect on the university ,” she says .
“ I want to help any leader who wants to develop their performance in any organisation , whether it be their own business of one , like me , or one with tens of thousands of employees .
“ I ’ m also keen to help anyone who wants help to improve the performance of their team and organisation .”
“ Claire is a very experienced professional who is just a pleasure to work with . She ’ s incredibly perceptive and indefatigably positive . For one-to-one coaching , or group work for developing the team , I know no one better . I have really valued her work with us here at Tees Components .”

Karl Pemberton says everyone has a period in their lives where they struggle and try to fathom out the “ What ? Why ? When ? and How ?” – but often the hardest part can be the " Who ?"
“ For me , ' Who ?' related to ' Who can I speak to ?', ' Who will understand ?' and ' Who will help me ?'. By pure chance , a friend introduced me to Claire , and straight away I ' d found my ' Who '. All the other questions I was struggling to solve on my own were then also answered . She helped me rediscover the person I used to be , and ultimately the person I wanted to be moving forward . For that , I cannot thank her enough . She will always remain affectionately known as my ' fixer '.”
