Middlesbrough-based Key Wellbeing is on a mission to encourage employees to take time out of their busy working day to pause , reflect and reset .
Marie Ranson , co-founder of the workforce wellbeing company , said : “ Breaks are proven to improve creativity , productivity and focus , as well as helping us to release stress , feel calmer and improve our overall wellbeing .”
Knowing that UK workers often feel too guilty to take breaks on their own accord , Key Wellbeing have partnered with national fruit distributors EatFruit to offer free , interactive wellbeing sessions that are accessible to staff across the UK .
The Feel Good sessions take place on a fortnightly basis at 12.30-12.45pm , bringing in an expert teacher or trainer from the wellbeing industry to lead participants through a 15-minute mindfulness , meditation or gentle movement break .
Employees can learn proven stress management techniques , practice anxiety-reducing breathing methods , release tension with seated yoga sequences and more .
Co-founder Melissa adds : “ Our 15-minute sessions are a small thing , but they can make a big difference both in the workplace and at home .
“ We ’ ve partnered with EatFruit to deliver this initiative because just like us , they believe in the importance of putting your people first at work . Not to mention , fruit plays a key part in making us feel good .”
EatFruit deliver hand-selected fruit , veg and health snack boxes to offices and workplace across the UK .
The Feel Good initiative is already proving to be a huge hit with local organisations as feedback reveals attendees feel more energised and have a notable increase in productivity following a midday reset .
