Morrison Water Services ’ expansion across this area follows on from two long-term framework contracts it was awarded by Northumbrian Water .

Earlier this year it was appointed by Scottish Water as a strategic contractor partner to support the delivery of one of Scotland ’ s biggest capital investment infrastructure programmes .

That approach will cover wideranging frameworks that include new assets , renewals , modifications and refurbishments for capital works for water and wastewater networks infrastructure and non-infrastructure
projects .
Such projects will include sewer flooding schemes , strategic water mains and sewer refurbishment and rehabilitation . Non-infrastructure projects will include water , sewage and sludge treatment facilities , pumping stations , boreholes and service reservoirs .

It provides a " virtual survey " view of operational sites , offering full visibility of risk factors , and acts as a central repository of traffic management plans that can be accessed " on the ground " and out-of-hours .
The platform ’ s works planning and traffic management modules will be rolled out across Teesside , delivering significant service delivery , efficiency and customer benefits , with new levels of mapping intelligence and a virtual approach to work planning that reduces the risk of rework and potential customer disruption .
