Certificate of Excellence award
from TripAdvisor.

edicated workers at Teesside’s
largest hotel celebrated after
customer reviews secured
them a TripAdvisor Certificate of
Excellence Award for the fourth
year running.
The certificate, awarded to Thistle Hotel
Middlesbrough, celebrates excellence
in hospitality and is given to venues that
consistently achieve great customer reviews.
Damon Roberts, general manager at the
four star hotel, said: “Only those venues
with outstanding customer reviews receive a
Certificate of Excellence so it’s an incredible
vote of confidence for the hotel team.
“We always strive to provide the best
service possible for our guests and we’re
thrilled that so many of them took the time
to complete a review.
”

reception to the restaurant never fails to

”
TripAdvisor examines the quality, quantity,
and timescale of reviews when determining
whether a venue is worthy of a Certificate of
Excellence.
To qualify, a business must maintain an
overall TripAdvisor ‘bubble’ rating of at least
four out of five, ]
