One Direction are now famous and have thousands of loving fans. They recently won two Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, one for Favourite Music Group and the other Favourite Song for "Story Of My Life".
One Direction started off as a small British-Irish boy band formed by X-Factor UK in 2010. Their hard work and dedication have earned them Role Model status.
