We want to discuss the effect that social media has on us. In Sweden almost every youth uses social media and we would like to argue that a lot of today’s norms origin from social media. An example of that is the way the so called influencers choose to show us their life’s and as a result make an impact on ours. We strive to look like them and live our life similar to what they do. This can make many of us feel bad about ourselves, cause we don’t feel as beautiful as they are. It can also be a question of success, influencers travel all over the world and have pretty clothes and hair. Because our lives are so different we might envy them and feel like just because we don’t do the same things we are not as successfull.

Socialization takes place in a time and place, in a social environment. All

individuals do not have the same type and uniform effect. If it were, individuals would have the same lathe
