F or a split-second, I was temporarily blinded. I had taken a picture with my two best friends - Elae and Jenna - in front of this massive dark-cloaked hanging figure. It looked like a combination of a dementor from Harry Potter and a skeleton. We had seen it while we were on our way to the haunted maze, and it had caught our eyes. I wasn’t used to taking many pictures, so the bright flash of the camera slightly stunned my eyes. But, it was worth it. This was the Haunted Halloween Festival, and it was held annually at my school. It was extremely fun and whenever the time was near, I would always look forward to it. This year, I was a witch, Elae was a mummy, and Jenna was a black-and-red vampire. We all had devoted our time to finding what we thought were the proper costumes. Therefore if you have the right costumes, it dug Halloween out of its grave, placed it in your reality, and let you explore and live it all the more.
