Getting Lost
It’s okay to be lost
To not know what is right
But you shouldn’t give into society rules
No you shouldn’t lose that fight
They will tell you how to act
And even tell you how to look
It’s no lie, but is a fact
One wrong move that they don’t approve
As life pushes you along
Without even a second to ponder if it’s
Where you belong
You don’t need to follow their rules
It’s okay to wander off their path
For those who don’t are merely fools
This road will be hard
Full of danger and broken hearts
They will warn you not to go
As they build up expectations wall
But all you need to do
Is stay true to yourself
And do that at all costs
Because you will never find out
Who you are
If you are too afraid to get lost
