“Dawn, that’s it. I’m officially done with the small talk that’s going on with Amaris. I’m gonna do it! I’m gonna have an actual conversation with them,” Apollo exclaimed, yelling at Dawn. Dawn sighed and hid his face in his hands. “It took you how many centuries to finally proclaim this?” Apollo had a determined look implanted onto their face, fist held up into the air. “Don’t know, don’t care! All I know is that I want to talk to them and I’m gonna do it today at sunrise!” Sunrise is hours away. So until then, Apollo practiced exactly what they were going to say to Amaris. In front of their own mirror. Which doesn’t really help much but back to our tale. So when sunrise came, Apollo started to freak out. There Amaris stood, on the day realm side of the marble temple where the two completed their duties. Apollo was actually going to do this, they were going to talk to the Amaris, absolute perfection of the sky- and oh my there they were. The pure marble structure was built with pillars holding up the ceiling. It was a very plain structure, with sun and moon banners on the two deity’s respectful sides. The centerpiece was a small podium that overlooked all of Earth, plus both the sun and moon. This is where Apollo was currently having a mental breakdown. Dawn broke their train of thought by yelling, “Welcome, our lord of the day realm, sun, and light, our great deity, Apollo!” A series of trumpets followed with Apollo’s entrance as they climbed up the stairs to the podium. They were probably the most nervous person in the skies at this point. Apollo stood in front of the podium waiting for Amaris to arrive. Amaris was taking a little longer to appear at the podium. All Apollo could hear the opposite deity’s small shouts at Dusk, probably arguing, also hearing the faint words of “Fine fine, I’ll talk.” Before Apollo got the chance to see what was happening, the two must have got their act together since Dusk had shouted, “Welcome, our lord of the night realm, moon, 32 and darkness, our great deity Amaris!”
