Missouri Captures the 2025 Girls Four State Championship

Central Links Golf held the 2025 Girls Four State Championship at Firekeeper Golf Course in Mayetta, KS, on July 3. The Missouri girls’ Four State team battled the Kansas team until the end to ultimately capture the championship title. Team Kansas finished in second place.“ We fought until the end and came up just short,” said one team Kansas player.
Alex Hogan Claims the Kansas City Amateur Championship Title
Central Links Golf held the Kansas City Amateur Championship at The Golf Club at Creekmoor in Raymore, MO, on July 27. The championship was shortened by stormy weather, but Alex Hogan shot rounds of 70- 69(-5) – 139 taking home the 2025 Kansas City Amateur Championship trophy. Michael Winslow came up a few strokes short but battled Hogan through the inclement weather conditions, shooting rounds 69- 71(-4) – 140 to finish runner-up. Kansas City Senior Match Play
Central Links Golf will host the Kansas City Senior Match Play at Excelsior Springs Golf Course, Excelsior Springs, MO, on September 15 – 17. The event is open to senior male amateur golfers age 50 or older with a GHIN handicap index of 8.0 or lower. You must have a handicap index through Central Links Golf to be eligible for this event. Stroke play event with qualifying played over 18 holes, and the top 16 scores( players) advanced to match play round finals. The field is limited to 36 eligible players. The entry fee is $ 90 per player, and includes cart fees, range, and prizes. Entry deadline is September 8, at 11:59 p. m., so hurry!
KGF to host Coed Golf Tournament
Join the fun at the Kansas Golf Foundation’ s First Annual Coed Golf Tournament at Lake Quivira Country Club on Monday, October 13. Grab a partner and swing into a day of fun at our Coed Golf Tournament at one of KC’ s top country clubs. This isn’ t your average day on the links— they’ re mixing it up with coed teams, friendly competition, and plenty of laughs along the way. Prizes, games, and post-round fun included.
Whether you’ re a seasoned golfer or just here for the vibes, it’ s all about good times, great company, and maybe a few bragging rights.
