Junior Clubs
As mentioned above, U. S. Kids Golf clubs are measured by height, not age, which is important because we all know that kids of the same age often vary in size and height. Your local pro shop should have the measuring equipment to properly fit the young golfer by height, not by age. U. S. Kids Golf also has fitting charts on its website to help parents choose the best set of clubs for their young golfers.

U. S. Kids Golf also offers a“ Trade Up” program for its junior clubs. According to U. S. Kids Golf, kids grow an average of 2.5 to 3 inches each year. U. S. Kids Golf allows you to trade in your old clubs for credit toward new sets and covers the trade-in shipping for you! Continuing to play with its equipment helps develop proper swings that lead to successful golfers. Visit www. uskidsgolf. com for more details about the Trade Up program, sizing guides, golf club selections, and more.
Tour Edge Golf is another excellent source for junior golf clubs, offering its Hot Launch HL-J Junior sets. Tour Edge recommends fitting the young golfer by age and height.

One of the biggest positives of using Tour Edge Golf is its lifetime equipment warranty. If anything ever happens to a club and it breaks, Tour Edge will replace it quickly. Although we don’ t typically see many broken Tour Edge clubs returned to us, we have had a few. Tour Edge responds immediately. We have found this to be a big benefit for both our young and older golfers.
Callaway, PING, TaylorMade, and Wilson also offer junior club sets. These brands tend to be a little more expensive than the previously mentioned ones, but they are more recognizable brands. You need to determine what is best for your budget and your junior. Remember, depending on the child’ s age, they will likely outgrow golf clubs as quickly as they do shoes.
Junior golfers are vital to the future of the great game of golf. Having fun and achieving success helps ensure they stick with the game. To help them succeed, they need golf equipment that fits properly. It’ s always best to visit a local on-course golf pro shop to get assistance in finding the right fit for your young golfer!
