KGF Junior Golf Grant Program Applications, Now Open
The Kansas Golf Foundation( KGF) is dedicated to promoting the future of golf across the state. Through its Junior Golf Grant Program, KGF provides funding to organizations across Kansas that help introduce young aspiring golfers to the game, gain the resources, training, and opportunities they need to play, compete, and grow in the game.
The KGF believes golf should be accessible to all. KGF grants provide funding for junior golf programs across Kansas— helping young athletes and aspiring golfers gain the resources, training, and opportunities they need to play, compete, and grow in the game.
The grant program is open to Kansas-based programs, organizations, and associations that teach golf to kids ages 18 and under. Grants of up to $ 5,000 are awarded annually to support initiatives that make the game more accessible and impactful for junior players.
Applications are now being accepted for the 2026 golf season. Open to Kansas-based programs, organizations, and associations dedicated to teaching golf to kids 18 and younger. The deadline to apply is December 31, 2025, with funds distributed in February 2026. Visit www. kansasgolffoundation. org to apply.
2025 Grant Recipients: Oswego Junior Golf Program, Atwood Junior Golf Program, and Optimist Club of Franklin County Junior Golf.
Congratulations to Austin Jarchow, winner of the Midwest Section PGA Professional Championship held at Silo Ridge Golf & Country Club in July. Jarchow finished an impressive three-rounds at-9, total of 207. Robert Russell and Ryan Dunham tied for runner-up at 212(-4), rounding out a strong leaderboard. All three professionals have qualified to represent the Midwest Section at the PGA Professional Championship at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, held April 26-29, 2026. Congratulations to these Midwest Section PGA professional as they continue to sharpen their games to compete on the national stage.
