TEE TIMES GOLF GUIDE™ Magazine
`Tis The Season to Be Thankful
With this issue, we wrap up our 25th year publishing this magazine, and I’ ve reached my 300th editorial –– I’ ve lost count of the articles I’ ve written. However, I’ d estimate over 1,000, not to mention the countless other articles we’ ve published. I enjoy writing and learning more about everything golf-related with each article we’ ve publish. The past 25 years have zoomed by incredibly fast. Even more impressive, my wife, business partner, and managing editor / VP, Victoria, has copyedited and proofread every word in every article or content piece at least three times before going to press in every issue for 25 years. My eyes and head hurt just thinking about that!
Victoria’ s an absolute rockstar! She absolutely loves her job, endures my craziness, and the demands of press deadlines. She was the one who convinced me to launch this magazine all those years ago. Without her help, you might not be reading this magazine right now. I’ m so grateful for everything she does! Except for making me watch“ Dancing with the Stars.” LOL!
As we prepare to tee off our 26th year in 2026, Victoria and I look forward to sharing interesting golf news and content with you, our dedicated readers, in hopes of motivating you to play golf more often and explore new courses. Many of the advertisers featured in these pages have supported us for the past 25 years. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we are eternally thankful for their longstanding partnerships, which have ultimately made the longevity of this publication possible.
Need some gift ideas for Christmas? You’ re in luck! In this issue, we’ ve included some popular golf gadgets, including GPS devices, training aids, and even gag gifts, to make shopping for the golfer in your family( or friends) easier this year.
Additionally, as Midwest golfers begin planning a warm-climate golf getaway during the fall and winter months, they need ideas on where to go. You’ re in luck! In this issue, we’ ve included golf options in Alabama’ s Gulf Shores and central regions where golfers will find everything needed to satisfy appetites both on and off the course.
Remember these?
Finally, whatever happened to those oldfashioned golf ball washers that you cranked up and down to clean your ball? They used to be near every tee box. If you forget to bring a wet towel, I suppose you’ ll just need to play a dirty ball. I miss those! Some courses still have them, but perhaps more will bring back the upand-down cranking golf ball washers in 2026!
Victoria and I thank all our loyal readers and advertising partners and wish everyone a joyful holiday season. Remember— hit‘ em straight and often. Fairways, greens, and fun!
