Sykes / Lady OP Team Claims Back-to-Back Women ’ s KC Cup Match Titles
The Men ’ s KC Cup finals were held on October 10 , at Brookridge Golf Club . St . Joseph Country Club defeated Shamrock Hills Golf Club 6.5 to 4.5 to win the 2024 KC Cup Matches . It was the third KC Cup win for St . Joseph , ( back-to-back 2021 and 2022 ). Shamrock Hills has seven KC Cup titles and historically , still holds the record for most KC Cup Match Wins since the matches started in 1992 . They claimed the KC Cup Championships in 2002 , back-to-back in 2008 , 2009 , won again in 2011 , back-to-back in 2015 , 2016 , then won again in 2023 .

The Women ’ s KC Cup Match finals were on October 3 , at Swope Memorial G . C . The Sykes / Lady Overland Park Golf Club team beat Stone Canyon Golf Club to claim the 2024 Women ’ s KC Cup championship trophy for the second straight year in a row . After winning the 2023 championships this back-to-back win secures the team in the record books as the third women ’ s team to claim back-to-back titles since the inception of the Women ’ s KC Cup matches in 2007 . Past back-to-back champions include Sunflower Hills 2021 and 2022 , and Staley Farms 2017 and 2018 .
