BELTON, MO— Eagles’ Landing Golf Course opened for public play in 1999 and quickly became regarded as one of the best public golf courses in the Kansas City area. The course, located in Belton, MO, on a former air force base, completed a 2.25 million-dollar renovation in 1998 that included the rebuilding of all 18 greens, the addition of two practice greens, a new irrigation system, fairway re-grading and drainage, and the addition of 45 new tee complexes.
A new clubhouse was built in 2006, and shortly after, it completed a new practice range. General Manager Jay Kennedy says,“ Walk away smiling— that’ s our goal. We want golfers to have a great time at Eagles’ Landing, whether you play 18 or 9 holes of golf. So, come on down and let our friendly staff show you a good time!”
Distinctive features of Eagles’ Landing include 69 sand bunkers that pepper the landscape like a B52 Bomber made practice runs. The course plays 6,926 yards from the championship tees, 6,348 from the blue tees, 5,737 from the white tees, and 4,909 from the forward green tees. Offering plush Zoysia fairways, the course is always in fabulous condition from tee to green. Eagles’ Landing is regarded as one of the most challenging yet fun courses to play within the Kansas City area.

SMITHVILLE, MO— Golf all day at Paradise Pointe Golf Complex where you will find the Northlands’ only 36-hole golf complex. The original course, the“ Posse,” opened in 1982 and is located on the shores of Smithville Lake. Its excellent layout features water hazards and beautiful views of the lake. An 18-hole, par 72 with Zoysia fairways and Bentgrass greens, it plays 6,663 yards from the back tees.
The“ Outlaw” course, designed by wellknown Architect Craig Schreiner, is a par 72 course that opened in 1994. It features 7,016 yards of plush Zoysia fairways, large Bentgrass greens with many of its holes featuring more beautiful Lake views. One of the KC area’ s superior public courses with many holes that could be considered as signature holes.
Records show that the James Gang actually lived and frequented this area long before there was Smithville Lake— hence the courses names.
A great golf facility with excellent course conditions and superior customer service. Paradise Pointe offers one of the best practice areas within the KC area at its large putting green and driving range.

LEE’ S SUMMIT, MO— Shamrock Hills Golf Club was established in 1961 and is well-known among KC golfers as one of the best bang-for-your-buck golf courses in the area. The course offers 170 acres of scenic land with no housing around its perimeter giving golfers a private, country setting with challenging holes through gently rolling hills. Shamrock Hills measures 6,363 yards from the longest tees and plays to a par of 71. Forward tees play 5,166 yards to a par 73. It’ s a perfect course for any golfer from beginner to low-handicapper— a fun course to play!
Play on plush Zoysia fairways leading to some of the silkiest greens in the Kansas City area. There are water hazards and enough sand bunkers to test your accuracy. Shamrock Hills offers practice chipping and putting areas and a driving range to warm up before your round. A professional golf staff is available for lessons.
