“ I am focusing on learning all I need to learn in order to take the next step ,” he explained , further noting the great team with which he works and credits Josh Nahm , director of instruction , for all the great work he does for the club .
Honors and Awards
Ingram ’ s impact on the golfing world has not gone unnoticed . As a member of the Midwest Section PGA , he received the Golf Professional of the Year award in 2023 , a testament to his commitment to the sport and the community he serves .
“ I was not expecting to hear my name called and was surprised and humbled , as this is the highest award a member can win ,” he reflected . “ Winning this award was never a goal of mine , but it is nice to feel rewarded for the hard work I have put in .”
Other awards bestowed upon Ingram include the Patriot Award in 2021 and the Merchandiser of the Year — Private in 2017 , further highlighting his outstanding contributions to the golfing community .
Family Life and Passions
Beyond his impressive career , Ingram finds solace and joy in his family life . He resides in Riverside , MO , with his wife , LaNette , and their three sons . He has already introduced his two oldest children to golf , fostering a new generation of golf enthusiasts within his family .
Giving Back to the Golfing Community
Ingram ’ s dedication to golf extends beyond his club . He actively serves on the Board of Directors for the Midwest Section PGA , having been initially elected in 2020 for the Missouri at Large Director position . Ingram recognizes the positive impact the Midwest Section PGA has on the game and the community and appreciates the forward-thinking leadership of Adam Greeno , executive director of the Section .
“ There have been many positive changes since Adam came on board a year ago ,” Ingram said . “ It has been a great first year with him , and I am looking forward to what ’ s next for the Section .”

Despite the demands of his career , Ingram values the moments he spends with his wife and children . He understands the importance of having a strong work-life balance and makes every effort to prioritize quality family time .

As for golf professionals he admires , he looks up to his former boss , Jeff O ’ Malley , the director of golf at Pilgrim ’ s Run in Michigan . O ’ Malley ’ s dedication to the game and his community involvement have inspired Ingram throughout his career .
Ingram ’ s journey from a young boy playing golf in his backyard to becoming a club manager at The National Golf Club is a testament to his passion , dedication , and love for the sport . His remarkable achievements , awards , and contributions to the golfing community and the Midwest Section PGA highlight his commitment to the game and its future .
