HOLIDAY HILLS ( 1940 ) – Operated as the Golf Ranch by Don Gardner from 1940-73 . Closed for remodeling in 1986-87 . Re-opend as Holiday Hills Golf Club & Resort . A favorite of residents with water on six holes and 40 bunkers . It ’ s located outside of Old Branson .

LEDGESTONE ( 1993 ) – “ A masterpiece of mountain golf ,” according to Golf Digest . Some of Branson ’ s most scenic holes . A semi-private course open to the public , it ’ s the focal point of the StoneBridge community near Silver Dollar City .
THOUSAND HILLS ( 1995 ) – Voted Ozarks best course by readers of the Springfield News-Leader , it ’ s conveniently located in the center of Branson . A par 66 with nine par 3 holes but by no means an executive course . Challenging with its Ozark hills and valleys .
BRANSON HILLS ( 2009 ) – Missouri ’ s No . 1 course according to Golf Channel ’ s Golf Advisor ; No . 38 in Golfweek ’ s “ Best courses in America ” and 49th toughest . Originally Payne Stewart , the course is located not far from Branson Landing .

BUFFALO RIDGE ( 2014 ) – Formerly Branson Creek , redesigned by Morris and Tom Fazio . Generous fairways but water on nine holes , deep bunkers , and intimidating greens . And yes , bison on the adjacent Dogwood Canyon Park .
MOUNTAIN TOP ( 2017 ) – A Gary Player designed 13-hole , par 3 , walking-only course . Big Cedar ’ s highest elevation has spectacular panoramic views of the Ozark Mountains and 300-million-year-old limestone rock formations .
OZARK NATIONAL ( 2019 ) – Arguably , Big Cedar ’ s toughest 18 holes with penalizing native grasses and countless deep bunkers . A Bill Coore – Ben Crenshaw design , the 13th hole features a 400-foot wooden beam bridge and a 60-foot drop .
PAYNE ’ S VALLEY ( 2020 ) – Tiger Woods ’ first designed public access course honoring the late Payne Stewart . Designed for all ages and skill levels , it features wide fairways , water hazards , and big but undulating greens . The 19th hole is a must-see ─ and play . �
