Costco ’ s Kirkland Signature Iron Sets and Drivers Sell Out Quick !
Costco ’ s Kirkland golf balls , which many golfers will swear are ProVs in disguise , have been popular and very affordable for years . Costco has been selling its Kirkland line of golf products for a few years ; in fact , many players are using its recent releases of putters and wedges with much success — and again , super affordable with high-end quality .
Now Costco ’ s Kirkland drivers and irons are making waves . During the first half of December , Costco released its new and extremely affordable signature adjustable driver , retailing for only $ 199.99 . Although only available to right-handed players and only available in the USA , they sold out quickly .
For the money , it ’ s a solid-looking driver . We ’ ll have to wait for more details and player reviews .

The Kirkland Signature Irons feature 4-iron to pitching wedge . The seven-piece set at just $ 499.99 is a steal compared to a full set of irons from any major brand .
A week before the driver ’ s release , Costco ’ s Kirkland Signature iron set , 4-iron through pitching wedge , hit online and store shelves priced at $ 499.99 . Compared to the recognized golf brands , it is a real bargain . They sold out within hours .
Costco is quickly becoming a force in the golf equipment space , but since the clubs have only been available for a very short period , not much is known about them . However , its website has some key details . Here ’ s what we learned .
The Driver : It offers a clean face , and the carbon crown looks sleek . The top of the head has an alignment feature to help with alignment . Kirkland says it features a multi-material construction , which includes a carbon composite crown . There ’ s also a titanium face and titanium sole , with the face featuring variable thickness technology . Although the driver only comes in one loft setting , 10.5 °, it can be adjusted to either a 9.5 °, 10.5 ° draw bias , or an 11.5 ° setting . There ’ s also a screw in the back of the driver ’ s head , which will help with weight distribution . The one shaft option is the Evenflow Riptide , which is a mid-spin / launch design created for stability . The shaft is available in either a regular or stiff flex .
The irons look like classic lower-to-mid-level handicap players ’ irons . However , they are not blades , but they offer a nice and clean look . These Kirkland irons feature a multi-material construction , built with a stainless-steel body , a urethane insert , and an internal tungsten weight . According to Costco ’ s description , those features give these irons distance and forgiveness . They are available with True Temper Elevate 115 steel shafts and Lamkin Crossline 360 grips . Again , good quality stuff and the price is right .
As mentioned , these clubs sold out very quickly , but sets are beginning to appear on eBay — although with a much higher asking price than from Costco . However , be patient and watch the Costco website www . costco . com and store shelves ; more Kirkland Signature drivers and irons may appear this spring !
