The AdventHealth Championship Tees Up at Blue Hills Country Club August 20-23
The AdventHealth Championship, a Korn Ferry Tour tournament and Kansas City’ s only PGA TOUR‐sanctioned event, will tee it up August 20-23 at Blue Hills Country Club and, for the first time, be broadcast nationally on the Golf Channel.
In past years, the Championship has been held in May and was often plagued by inclement spring weather and delays. With the 2026 Championship held in August, hopefully, weather delays won’ t be an issue. It will also serve as the final regular-season event before the Korn Ferry Tour Finals. Following the AdventHealth Championship, the four season-ending Korn Ferry Tour Finals events will determine which 20 players earn their PGA TOUR cards for 2027, making Kansas City a pivotal stop on the road to golf’ s biggest stage.
In a standout performance during his 30th start on the Korn Ferry Tour, S. H. Kim won the 2025 AdventHealth Championship for his first TOUR-sanctioned title and earned his PGA TOUR card for 2026. S. H. Kim, a 25-year-old( now 27) South Korean golfer, fired a first round 66(-6), round two 65(-7), round three 66(-6), and a final round of one-under 71 after sinking multiple long putts under pressure. His 20-under gave him a shot total of 268 to clinch the 2025 Championship and his $ 180,000 winner’ s share of the $ 1,000,000 purse.
S. H. Kim joined the PGA TOUR in 2026, and, through August, he’ s had one top 10 and four top 25 finishes. He’ s made 55 of 84 cuts and earned $ 4,425,798. Who will claim the 2026 AdventHealth Championship and their 2027 TOUR card? You’ ll need to be there to find out.
