In a resounding commitment to nurturing talent and fostering academic and athletic excellence , the Kansas Golf Foundation ( KGF ) proudly welcomes its new class of scholarship recipients for the Kansas Junior Golf Scholarship . It wishes them the best in their first year of college . Recognizing the paramount role that education and golf play in shaping young lives , this year ’ s program awards five junior golfers with $ 10,000 grants to support their journey through accredited colleges and universities in Kansas .
The Foundation ’ s dedication to holistic growth is mirrored in its comprehensive selection criteria , which encompass academic achievements , character , leadership , community service , financial need , and active participation in the world of golf . Through essays and videos , applicants shared their personal stories and aspirations , underscoring their passion for both education and golf . To date , 100 Junior Golf Scholarships have been awarded through the program .

The Kansas Junior Golf Scholarship is disbursed throughout the recipient ’ s four-year college career , offering sustained support for their educational journey . The scholarship amount is $ 2,500 per year , renewable for four years .
