Rodina and Brown each worked four shifts , Seber-Bradley a total of 10 , which included a chance to see history . “ I was at the back of the green on the 18th hole to see the winning putt ,” she said . Hawaiian Allisen Corpuz tapped in the winner to wrap up a three-shot win . It was the first LPGA win for the 25-year-old Corpuz , who notched six birdies , wiping out a one-shot deficit .

When they weren ’ t working , the women had free reign to take in all of historic Pebble Beach , watching the world ’ s best women golfers play some of golf ’ s most spectacular holes bordering the Pacific Ocean . One afternoon after their shift , Rodina and Brown took advantage of their ability to roam to hang out near the 17th green watching each of the threesomes come down to the finish . “ It was fun to see the players up close and personal ,” said Rodina . “ Being on the course four days , we got to watch them swing and see how they prepared . I just tried to burn swings into my memory and emulate them .” “ It was also fun seeing Michelle Wie and Annika Sorenstam , although they didn ’ t make the cut ,” said Seber-Bradley .
While the tournament did have one hole-in-one , it did not have any as bizarre as the one Brown witnessed in the U . S . Open — Jordan Spieth going over the cliff on the two-tiered 8th hole to hit his second shot . Seber-Bradley did come to the rescue of Brook Henderson . “ She stopped for a restroom break , and when she got back , a lot of people were crossing the crosswalk ,” she said . “ So I ran ahead and stopped the crowd so she could catch up . She was very thankful .”
Their return to Kansas City just after midnight the following Monday after the tournament was highlighted with great memories , an experience of a lifetime , and the knowledge of a job well done . “ We received multiple compliments from our superiors , and our hole captain specifically signaled us out for good work ,” said Rodina .
It sounds like a solid recommendation when the men ’ s U . S . Open returns to Pebble Beach in 2027 . “ You never know ,” said Seber- Bradley .
