August 5 , Lake of the Ozarks Shootout Float Your Boat Cardboard Boat Races .
Contestants can only use cardboard and duct tape to construct boats . This is a fun , okay , hilarious event to watch while you kick
The fun runs from 5 p . m . – 9:30 p . m . on the Bagnell Dam Strip , Lake Ozark , MO . It ’ s free to attend . “ Cruise In ” for all classic cars , trucks , and bikes is held on the 2nd Friday of each month , May – September 8 , with the last event , “ A Salute to our Front Line Heroes .” You ’ ll also enjoy great food , fun , and shopping while strolling the Bagnell Dam Strip .
