“ He will play in our member / guest tournament this year ,” noted Cleary , who once took a group of local golfers on a golf trip to Ireland .
Beyond his professional achievements , Cleary finds joy in exploring new horizons with his wife , Taylor , who also played golf at William Jewel . Together , they enjoy adventures in travel , bicycle riding with a recent adventure along the Katy Trail , and indulging in culinary delights and wine tasting at local wineries . His appreciation for the camaraderie and lifelong friendships forged through his association with the Section and golf is evident in his commitment to fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere at Lake Quivira .
Looking ahead , Cleary is determined to continue his professional growth by completing his last level through the PGA , furthering his expertise and expanding his impact within the golfing community . His admiration for the Midwest Section PGA and its dedicated staff reflects his deep respect for the organization that has supported and nurtured his career . Cleary also recognizes Skip Maiwald , fellow Section member and Director of Instruction at Iron Horse Golf Club , as one of his mentors .
“ I love the relationships you build in this industry and that this is a game for life ,” Cleary explained . “ I especially enjoy teaching people and seeing the joy in their faces when they make gains .”
