In a recent survery conducted by a university on how people receive messages from other people, it showed that 55% of what you learn is from their body language, 33% is from their tone of voice and only a small 7% comes from the words that they use.

BODY LANGUAGE

Your ability to use your body language in a way which shows the customer you are there to help and your ability to read their body language as well are extremely important skills.

The main aspects of body language are:

- Eye Contact

- Facial Expression

- Body Posture

It can create a negative impression if any of these aspects of body language are over done or underdone. For example, if you aren't making eye contact with a customer it may seem like you're not interested in helping them.
