Uno dei vantaggi fondamentali del taglio tubo è proprio la possibilità di creare strutture direttamente con elementi tubolari con indubbi benefici in termini di robustezza ed economicità. In questo caso, anche se sovente i progetti possono prevedere giunzioni che il più delle volte sono demandate a chi effettua la produzione della struttura, TubeMachinig offre la possibilità di disegnare in modo molto semplice e parametrico il tipo di
giunzione che si desidera realizzare. Effettua l’ operazione in modo molto semplice direttamente sulla struttura definendo la giunzione“ maschio”, la giunzione“ femmina” ed inserendo una sola volta i parametri, eliminando così la possibilità di commettere errori. Nell’ ambiente sincrono è possibile modificare ulteriormente le giunzioni sempre mantenendo collegato il disegno della giunzione maschio con la giunzione femmina. « Tra le varie tipologie di lavorazioni,- commenta il titolare dell ' azienda- TubeMachining ci ha consentito di introdurre il cosiddetto“ tagliopiega”; il software riesce, infatti, a gestire il taglio in modo tale da non separare i pezzi che, restando giuntati, agevolano la fase di piegatura del particolare e il suo successivo inserimento e assemblaggio nelle strutture delle carpenterie ».
The tube machining revolution
The Eurosoft TubeMachining software has allowed Alesa Costruzioni Meccaniche to fully optimise metal tube cutting and processing phases, benefitting the production cycle as a whole as well as the tube processing service that the company began to provide as a subcontractor.
Diversifying and expanding the business horizons was the goal of the technological choices, and the resulting investments, made by Alesa srl Costruzioni Meccaniche, a company in Capannori( near Lucca) operating in the metalworking sector since 1974. Starting with the construction and sale of in-house designed machinery and moulds for the construction industry, in 1990 Alesa shifted its focus, specialising in the subcontracting and assembly of complete machinery for various industrial sectors, particularly mechanical engineering, the paper industry— which is very present in the area— construction and logistics. The company ' s operating system is based on Eurosoft software. Specifically, the TubeMachining module has allowed the company to fully optimise the metal tube cutting and processing phases, as a result also benefitting the other phases of the production cycle, especially the downstream ones, such as the assembly of the structures it manufactures and the tube processing service they were able to introduce thanks to the TubeMachining software and the new 6 kW laser tube machine purchased and installed by Cutlite Penta.
A NEW WAY OF IMAGINING AND PRODUCING STRUCTURES The new tube laser cutting machine installed by Alesa can process a maximum diameter of 305 mm and a 220 mm square with bar length of up to 6,300 mm. It can make holes of various shapes and perform threads from M5 to M12, slots, inclined cuts, bending cuts, chamfers, cuts in thickness up to 20 mm and markings. It is equipped with automatic loading in five step positions and a tube bundle loading capacity of up to 1,800 kg. " Laser tube processing makes it possible to obtain finished parts in a single manufacturing cycle also including all the cutting processes required," says Tony Mazzara, owner of Alesa.
