Opportunities for Students
Tech Camps – hands-on experiences in technical
occupations for K-12 students with primary focus
on grades five through eight.
Campus Tours – guided tours of classrooms,
labs, student involvement, dining, and much more.
Classroom Shadows – students are able
to learn more about a pathway or program by
observing NWTC learning labs and classrooms.
Open House – Opportunities for potential
students to explore our campus, investigate our
labs and classrooms, and meet our instructors.
Opportunities for Staff
Professional Learning Day – This annual event
provides secondary staff a mix of information on
NWTC admissions, new curriculum products and
labor market updates.

Technical Skills Training – Train the Trainer
courses, course audits and other training are
available for teachers who deliver NWTC curriculum
through transcribed credit.
Spring Summit – Curriculum-sharing event that
is held annually to keep mentor relationships strong
with secondary and post-secondary faculty and
to keep K-12 instructors up-to-date on curriculum
delivered through transcribed credit. Green Bay Campus
Career Prep Council – Comprised of members
from the 32-district consortium, this group meets
three times per year to build bridges from secondary
to post-secondary education, using Carl Perkins
Career Prep Grant outcomes as a guide. Marinette Campus
PK14 Committee – The president of NWTC
facilitates this committee which is made up of
representatives from the school districts including
