Spyker B6 Venator

Spyker is making cars again, the dutch sportscar company has been in crisis the last few years but they confirmed to make new cars and we are going to see the brand new Spyker B6 Venator.

The it was planned origionally in late 2014 but they rescheduled it to begin 2015, but there is still no B6 Venator.

It has a V6 mid rear/engine, powering the rear wheels with 365bhp with a six-speed automatic transmission.

The price of the B6 Venator will be 98.000, what is not too expensive for a super car, even though it is a car from zeewolde.

I hope they manage to start the production this year, because the design is beautiful it kind of reminds me of the classy cars made by our British neighbors.

Lamborghini Asterion LPI 910-4

My First thoughts about the Asterion are a bit neutral, you see some clear Lamborghini aspects but it looks so modest not over the top like Lamborghini always have been.

But now performance is it a real Lambo? According to Lamborghini the Asterion can drive 50 km on electricity alone and it can drive up to 78 mp/h (roughly 26 km/h), when you have driven the 50 km you don’t need to stop and charge the car again because after the battery is exhausted the car switches to hybrid mode.

The Asterion has a 5.2 liter FSI V10 engine placed longitudinal as a mid engine, providing 610 bhp and the three additional electro motors provide an stunning 300 bhp. This all is a total of 910 horsepower, I know wow. With all this power it will be the first hybrid car that is able to get from 0 to 100 in just three seconds and with a top speed of 320 km/h.

In electric mode it uses the two electric batteries placed in the front for the two wheel drive, but in hybrid mode it can use the three batteries and the V10 engine resulting in a permanent four wheel drive. The Asterion is not only powerful it is very fuel efficient, it has been rated at 4.2 liters per 100 km on the European cycle. Overal this Car just looks and sounds too good to be true.
