Similar to Blackboard, Moodle is a avenue for presenting content, adding dynamic elements to your classroom such as forums, wikis, embedded website content, quizes, and more. The learning curve to have a truly engaging course in Moodle takes some true dedication, but it's all there for you to explore. We've started a collection of courses with resources specifically for teachers. This is a dynamic repository where I will continually add content for Plaquemines Parish teachers and students. If you think your Moodle is top of the mark, let us know. We'l love to showcase your hard work in our next issue.

Look who I ran into at ISTE - All I did was comment on his fancy Moodle shirt and then voila! Turns out he's the man who invented Moodle.
