"I want to get more out of my smartboard."
That's the most common question I hear. Where do you start? First - Clear the way - move what you have in front of your board. As Nike puts it - "Just do it." The first step is always the hardest step.
Second - You Tube is a fantastic resource for enhancing your Smart Board skills.. You Tube has a million short smartboard demos - some produced by SMART technologies.. I've searched You Tube and posted videos in the Moodle Course titled Smartboard Resources.
Third - Create files that help you with your every day routines. Almost anything you do with the ELMO or in writing can also be done in SMART notebook and saved for review.
Hypothetical Situation: Imagine if your Smartboard broke. If you're not using it, why should it be replaced?
Can I scaffold for you? Use the comments section below to write something you do every day or a lesson that you'd like help integrating it with a Smartboard resource. I'll create a video and smart notebook activity and meet you to review what I found/created.
