Tech Savvy School

Technology has made us thrive in life and as it gets better, we do as well. But even though we are one species, we act differently in other regions. You see many places being over crowded, uneducated or even starving. But right now, I will be looking into China, and how technology benefits them. First off, I want to go into schools. In the United States, we are very privileged, but many other schools aren’t.

In China, they have hard times vigorous education styles. In the USA, we tend to have school hours around 8 AM to 3 PM while China has times like 7 AM to 5 PM. The students have to stay for a long period of time, along with extra things like tutoring and late night homework. The students are pressured to do well, because in China, they base things on one chance. They only have private schools with tests in order to get in.

They can only take the test once and if they flunk it, they have to be homeschooled or drop education. They have three years of high school, but they have to take another, harder test for college. If they fail that test, most will drop education and get a job, but they are able to take the test again in a year. These tests are taken very seriously for it affects the student harshly in life. So the parents will take charge. They will feed them believed to be memory attained food, rent a hotel room for study and even wait for the four hour test to be over.

It is also taken seriously by the schools. They will generally have cameras that monitor the students in case of cheating. When the USA goes to college, it is more subtle and feels like the option is yours. You can wait for college, prep for college or go to college right after high school. But the Chinese are practically forced to get into their academics. But on the inside of the school, computers aren’t very common. It all varies on what district they are in, if it’s rural or in the city. The city was popular for computers, but the rural district was almost barren.

China is coming to the tech side and finding advantages. They’re education and abilities to be educated further have been expanded with the computer. A marvelous informational resource from technology has been given and along with their rigorous times of education will further themselves over the US.
