and smaller, known as the nanotechnology. The government investment in nanotech research around the world increased from $432m to $4.1b in the year 1997 until 2005. (Roco,2006) It is predicted that the nanotech would continue contributing to the global economy with approximately $1trillion.

The nano industries have created two million workers and three times as many that will have supporting jobs. In addition, in 2010, workers have developed the nanoelectronic component into three-dimensional circuits and also reduced the size of molecules in amplifiers and transistors that could bring an improvement to the electronic industries. Moreover, another application of nanotech is the medicine that could improve tissue for regeneration and even builds artificial organs. One of the quote said by Mihail C. Roco,
"Over the next two decades, this new field for controlling the properties of matter will rise to prominence through four evolutionary stages"
Right now, the nano industries are working on the molecular nanosystems that could operate in a wider range of environments and a faster way.

Computers and robots are expected to be reduced in size in the future and new types of genetic therapies and anti-aging treatments to be created in the future. Relates back to the quote, over the next two decades, nano field will control all the properties of matter and becomes essential in our life. Nanotech benefits every sector includes medical field and helps the environment with more pollution control through the more efficient use of resources and labours.
