Cooperative, which was established in Alaşehir first in 1931. Alaşehir sub-province has very good topography, soil, and climate for growing of agricultural products. Except, bananas, hazelnuts, and tea all agricultural products are grown in Alaşehir. But, this sub-province is very famous for its sultana grapes and 1/3 of the exported production of sultana grapes are produced here. The economy of Alaşehir is completely based on agricultural sector, and vineyards cover almost half of the agricultural area. After getting this information, technobird tastes some raisins and finds them very delicious. The students and their teacher also put some raisins into their pockets and they go on their tour. Technobird wonders about the mineral water and Sarıkız, and asks questions about the production place of this popular water and the story of Sarıkız. The students take it to Sarıkız square and start telling about it. The Sarıkız mineral water is a source known since the beginning of the 1800s and different legends were written on its name. According to one legend, Sarıkız is a tall Turkish girl with golden hair. She is proverbial with her beauty and charitableness and a member of one of the tribes. She distributes water to the soldiers in the battlefield. She dresses the wounds of wounded people and eases their pain. One day, an enemy shoots her with an arrow in her chest anda he fell martyr. The water is said to gush from the ground where Sarıkız fell. It is such a beautiful flowing water that it becomes a river with time. The river has become a healing water and relieved pain. The technobird is amazed with this myth and wants to try this miraculous mineral water which is a gift of nature. The students show the fountain from which natural mineral water is flowing all the time. They rush to the fountain with technobird and drink this healing water thirstily. Technobird really enjoys this. After a tiring tour, they decide to eat something and technobird gets excited about trying new dishes. First, it tries kapama, a kind of food in which small meatballs are put into rolled dough and fried and served with meat broth. Technobird is really happy to explore a different flavour. Then Project members make it taste all the other dishes such as pitta bread, stuffed grape leaves, popular Alaşehir bread and pancakes. Technobird admired all types of these cultural dishes. Technobird is so full that it decides to fly over this amazing city for a short time and thanks to the students of Tepeköy Secondary School and Neslihan Teacher for their guidance. While flying and watching the wonderful view from the sky, it sees an amazing location which looks like Cappadocia. He is fascinated by this beautiful landscape formed by geological activities. It flies near these formations and learns that the land formations that look like the fairy chimneys are so similar to the ones in Cappadocia and they even named Kula’s landscape “Kuladokya”.Then technobird wonders this amazing city, Kula, and enters the city centre. It sees the narrow roads and wonderful Kula homes and asks people about them. They are wooden houses built in 18th century under the Ottoman Empire. Kula houses usually have two floors and the upper floors projecting towards the street. Technobird are so happy to do a number of exciting things in Manisa. From historical sites to cultural attractions, it discovers all local attractions.
