Today Alsancak Melih Özakat Primary School students and Technobird are very excited
about this trip because after visiting Sasalı Wildlife Park they want to visit Pergamon with
Technobird. It is a very curious bird. Pergamon is one of the most important culture and tourism
centers of İzmir. There are a lot of historical places. Students tell Technobird all about
Pergamon during the visit:
"The history of Bergama, one of the most glorious settlements of the Hellenistic Period,
goes up to the seventh century BC. The city was the capital of the Kingdom of Pergamon,

Library collection consisted of 200.000 books including bundles of papyrus and parchment.
