ALOR SETAR, April 12, 2014 - an exhibition of "let's learn science" was held at the National Science Centre of the Northern Territory . Exhibition organized by the ministry of science and innovation (MOSTI) is intended to promote the National Science Centre of the Northern Territory to the north community. Objective of this science shows is to expose students to science and encourage them to discover more about science. The main aim of this exhibition is to society in general and students in particular. As an institution of informal learning, the institution hopes to raise interest, appreciation and understanding of the public's science and technology for the improvement of scientific Malaysians.
The exhibits at the National Science Centre consists of various themes which are divided according to specific categories. There are two main divisions of Basic Science and Technology. Exhibits there is such as Oryza Education Park. This park was build based on ‘learning in garden’ concept. It consist several exhibits that enable visitors to engaged learning while playing. Visitors can spend quality time with family while learning science concepts that available in this park. other exhibitions is Science Mall. Science mall is A wide range of space consist of variety of science theory such as mechanical, sound, human anatomy and lots more. Suitable for all ages to explore the exciting world of science and technology.
Fascinating Tunnel is most the best part on this shows. A tunnel fill up with several wonderful exhibits on lights and optics that can open up your mind. In the tunnel, there are several types of games related to the light available to visitors. This game is very interesting coupled with atmosphere in the tunnel of darkness and light are different. For this experience, the reader must try this Fascinating Tunnel at National Science Centre.
Beside that, other exhibitions that can be shared is 3D theatre. This exhibitions also quite interesting to share with readers because experience the fun and joy while watching short documentary of science and technology in 3D that will blow your mind. Other exhibitions that draw visitors is simulated disaster zone. in this simulation, visitors are able to experience an earthquake, see up close how the occurrence of a tornado, and also tsunami. With these simulations, visitors can input effectively and efficiently learn about science.
The whole concept of this National Science centre is to link science with religious values, the environment, and other aspects of life, knowledge and its use in everyday life. With shows like this, hopefully many visitors can obtain input on the science and can be applied in the future in everyday life and in learning.
