Technology Association of Oregon (TAO) staff are constantly inspired by the innovation and technology thriving throughout the region. But, while the tech industry here is comprised of a diverse set of companies, there is more work to do to ensure that employment opportunities are accessible to all.

During meetings with member companies a recurring theme has arisen around gender diversity in tech and particularly in leadership roles. The number of women in tech and tech leadership jobs in the region trends similarly to the national statistic of 30% of tech jobs being held by individuals that identify as women.

TAO saw an opportunity to bring women executives from tech and tech enabled companies together regardless of functional area, to create a network and build a pipeline of future leaders. And the Power Pairing concept was born!

Through a series of intimate events, C-Suite, VP and Director level executives invite an emerging leader for relationship building, networking and training in an exclusively women-identifying space. As an organization committed to building the region’s inclusive, innovation economy, TAO is proud to bring women tech leaders together for fellowship and career growth on a regular basis.

We aspire to have gender parity in tech and invite you to turn the page to meet some of the power pairings inspiring and driving that change in our regional community.
