Greetings >>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Greetings from TECH Fort Worth!
T
he state of technology-based
entrepreneurship in North
Texas is alive and well! TECH
Fort Worth was founded 16
years ago to help people with new
technologies figure out how to get
their ideas to the marketplace, building
companies and creating local jobs and
wealth along the way.
In the past several years, we have seen
quite an explosion of new incubators,
seed accelerators, networking
groups, co-working spaces, university
programs – lots
of different forms
of support for
technology-based
entrepreneurs.

From my perspective as a member of
the Board of Directors for the National
Business Incubation Association, I see
this phenomenon happening all over the
country. But I have to say that I proudly
believe our area is leading the pack in
the amount and variety of activity.
At TECH Fort Worth, we believe we
should always be reinventing our own
programs and services, changing to
meet the needs of the entrepreneurs
and the community we serve. We
continually adjust our programs or
add new ones, where we see a gap
that needs to be filled. This is why
we added a new feature to this year’s
Impact Awards event – a showcase for
attendees to meet and get to know the
Tech Fort Worth ›› 2014 Impact Awards
technology-based entrepreneurs we
work with.
The entrepreneurs we honor this
year have earned their spots through
hard work, persistence, and courage.
On behalf of them and the entire
community, we thank all of the
volunteers and sponsors who help
the TECH Fort Worth staff provide the
resources these entrepreneurs need to
succeed.
Feel free to visit with us at TECH
Fort Worth to learn how you can get
involved, too!
