Hi my name is Ingrid Jacqueline Hernández Cruz
I was born in Seattle, Washington on January 17th, 1957; I went to Harvard University and I graduated in electrical engineering and software management. Since child I took courses in advertising and communication, however, what caught all my attention was the world of technology, because I dreamed to be like my father and always he encouraged me to follow my dreams for that beside him we opened a Production Company Cellphone in 1972 “Hercall” which close to half of the 1974 century, after the death of my boss, my father. The year began, 1975 I was working alongside Azul Suarez, Lucero Olivera and Liset Ramos, with which in 1976, we launched our own company "ILLA" in which we produce the magazine that now is the most known around the world, Tech 4 teens, we created this magazine in order to involve teenagers in the world of technology focused on a bright future.
LUCERO OLIVERA
Hi my name is Lucero Olivera, I was born in Los Angeles, California, on December 23, 1955; I went to the University of Wisconsin. Smart but directionless, I experimented with different pursuits before starting ILLA Magazines with Ingrid Hernández, Liset Ramos and Azul Suárez in 1976. ILLA’s revolutionary products, which include the physical and digital magazines, are now seen as dictating the evolution of modern technology, with Ingrid having left the company in 1985 and returning more than a decade later. Now days it’s the magazine most know in the
world.
