“ When it comes to my songwriting, it is definitely influenced by what I experience and how it affects me,” says the seventeen year old, New York City based R & B and pop singer-songwriter, Teddy Edwards.“ For me, it is not about writing an artificial lifestyle. I’ m not about that at all. It’ s all about being true to your experiences, and you have to word it in a way that resonates to you and means something. As well as being artistic at the same time.”

+++ Edwards remembers his early childhood surrounded by music.“ As a little kid, I had a guitar that I strummed on so much until literally the guitar broke in half,” says Edwards.“ I’ ve been playing piano since I was four and I’ ve been writing songs since I was nine. My love for music just developed over time, and for me it was a natural progression.”
